If you have an illegal number plate then it could lead to you failing your MOT. Many people may not even realise that their cherished number plate is illegal and so it is important to make sure you are aware of the rules.
A number plate can only have a specific font. This is because it needs to be easy to recognise and the font chosen is the one that was felt to be the best for easy recognition, both by eye and automatic recognition cameras. The plates must be the correct colour, white on the front of the vehicle and yellow on the back. The plates must have just two screws placed in the correct positions on the plate. The letters must be spaced exactly as specified on the registration. The letters cannot be altered in any way, either by printing them slightly differently or by changing them with a permanent marker, tape or anything like that.
It can be tempting to fiddle around with a number plate to make it look cooler. It may seem like a really good idea and very simple to do as well as a bit of harmless fun. However, if you are caught with an illegal plate then you face a fine of £1000 and you may have the mark removed This means that you would fail your MOT and not be allowed to drive the car until you buy a new registration and have it properly approved by the DVLA. This is the annual if not common checks set up by the government to make sure all cars go for an extensive check through professional mechanics that's why we have the MOT services all in essence to make sure all cars are in perfect condition while on the roads and this should be performed in a span dictate by either r the car manufacturer with respect to the model of the car. Now the question begs when to mot your car, now the best thing to note is that depends with the manufacturer and model of the car, date of manufacture. This is what will determine when the vehicle should be mot next. One should understand that this is done to ensure safety on the roads and prevent road carnage as a result of negligence on part of the owner of the car to say the least. If it was left to owner of the car we could be witnessing troubles like never before that's why the state has to step in and act as an oversight o these issues. |

I am fond of cars but I only have one car in possession. I love looking at pictures of luxury cars and I am interested to learn about luxury car tax budget. I wonder how much money do owners of extravagant cars have to pay for taxes. I remember I have a friend who is connected with a car tax business. Maybe I can ask him all about this matter. For sheer curiosity, I am thinking of looking for publications where car taxes for luxury vehicles are being discussed. I can refer to message boards and forums, as well, to have an idea about the range of taxes that those who have this kind of car have to pay for. Who knows, I’ll have my own luxury car in the future. When that time comes, I will be glad to have an idea about the amount of tax I am obliged to endow the government with. I believe that learning things I know nothing about is always a sensible act to make for future reference. |
