An Unexpected Announcement of the President's Retirement

When Charles went inside the conference hall, the meeting has already started. Not wanting to get unnecessary attention, he grabbed the chair at the side and quietly sat down. He listened intently to the discussion of the board, not wanting to miss out on anything. Among the things that were discussed was the launching of the company's latest products and services. It was agreed that an appropriate budget will be allocated for advertising purposes. The possibility of utilizing one that guaranteed seo ranking was also mentioned. Another important matter that was done was reviewing of the company's policies. Not a few have expressed the need for more updated policies that will govern the operations of the company. The President has also announced his retirement in the next couple of months. No one expected such announcement to be made during the meeting. The news came as a shock to everybody except for Charles. He knew the President had plans of going abroad for a much deserved vacation with his wife. Charles knew about his retirement because he happens to be the son of the President.
